MM on telepathic/etheric transmission.

Conscious transmission of thought at a distance is still in an embryonic stage.  Each undertaking in this direction is to be welcomed, but it will carry little weight for the broad masses.  Therefore, together with experiments, lectures about thought-energy should be organized widely.

Our discourses, and My words, are not coming to you now from the Subtle World, but are the result of the transmission of thought from a distance. When Urusvati sees the events taking place in Our Tower it is a special function of telepathic vision, whereas discourse with Us corresponds to direct radio messages. When MM states that a transmission is equal to the speed of light, I take it as a scientific fact pertaining to how and what context he is speaking of.

Physical plane Light, has a close connection with, and uses as a medium the second ether. This corresponds to the heart centre and demonstrates the method of communication via the medium of thinking in the heart and the awakening and linking of the higher and lower heart centres. During transmission of thought at a distance a very indicative manifestation is observed.  Thought is sent in one language and received in another.  Does not this prove that psychic energy acts not verbally, by means of cerebral processes, but precisely by the fiery energy of the heart? FW2 385.

Thus, through observation of the pulse, one can approach the treasures of the heart.  One can similarly sense when the heart is silent and the calls do not reach it. 

A great deal of work has been done on the transmission of thought at a distance--the pulse is also useful for this.  In its most sensitive capacity the pulse can detect a thought-sending, even before its realization. Heart 365.

Upon the unfoldment of the heart center, and on an intelligent relation of mankind to the Hierarchy, with the consequent response of man to the energy of love, all disciples are asked at this time to ponder and reflect, for as a "man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

The ability to think in the heart is the result of the process of transmuting desire into love during the task of elevating the forces of the solar plexus into the heart center.

Heart thinking is also one of the indications that the higher aspect of the heart center, the twelve-petalled lotus found at the very center of the thousand-petalled lotus, has reached a point of real activity. Thinking as a result of correct feeling is then substituted for personal sensitivity. EH 157.

The power to communicate is to be found in the very nature of substance itself. It lies potentially within the ether, and the significance of telepathy is to be found in the word omnipresence. TEV 5.

When group work in telepathy is undertaken, the centers of transmission wherein high and consecrated feeling, devotion, aspiration and love are concerned and where the groups work with pure love, communication will be from heart to heart, and from a group heart to another group heart. The phrase "heart to heart talk," so often used, is usually a misnomer at this time, but will some day be true. TEV 9.
